SEO Contest from SEO WEB HOSTING & SEO WEB DESIGN

I have been thinking about creating an SEO Contest, and would like to get feedback from SEO professionals on how a contest should be done. I was thinking of a contest where the keyword is unique, and also not in the current google, yahoo, msn index. I would also say that the destination seo optimized page is not a blog... it should be an HTML 4.0 + type page with CSS and layers if you like.

I think this would create a cool contest that would really show the skills of the SEO Professional.

Would love your thoughts :)

SEO WEB HOSTING & SEO WEB DESIGN Black Hat SEO Techniques

Black Hat SEO includes, linkspamming, misrepresenting site content, cheating on reciprocal links, spamdexing, linkfarming, linkbaiting, empire building, cloaking, keyword stuffing, redirects, buying links, and buying traffic and many more techniques.

Some of the Black Hat SEO techniques I have been using succesfully for many years, others have limited success or are easily detectable. I will go through all these techniques one by one and detail the positives and negatives of each technique.

I like to use what is referred to as GRAY HAT SEO. The idea of gray hat seo is to use a variety of techniques to get good search engine results, but always deliver to the person doing a search, VALID results! In other words, if someone does a search for "seo web hosting" the pages that I put on the first and second page of Google and other search engines will be about SEO WEB HOSTING! No deception! Only the results a person is looking for :)

10 Great Ways To Promote Your Web Site Posted By SEO WEB HOSTING

There are several ways to promote your website for free online. Here are 10 highly effective techniques you can start using right now.

1. Write articles or free reports for other webmasters to publish and put your website address in the by-line. If you can write good content, your articles will be published and a lot of readers who like your article will start using your website.
2. Arrange Joint Venture partnership with Webmasters and List owners.
3. Add your ad or website address to your own email signature. Thus, each time you send an email, you'll promote your own website.
4. Start exchanging Links with Other Webmasters. This is another very effective strategy to generate targeted traffic to your website free of cost.It involves contacting other webmasters for a probable link exchange partnership.
5. Add a blog to your site and Ping weblogs.com and the other search engines. Pinging your blogs to the search engines is the fastest and surest way to get the search engine robots to visit your blog and attract a number of new visitors to your web site regularly.
6. Submit your blog address to different blog search sites and directories. You can submit your blog's URL to websites such as Technorati, Daypop, Popdex and Blogdex.
7. Start creating RSS feeds for your site and submit the feed URLs to the major RSS feed directories online.
8. Become an active commenter. Try to leave your comments on the blogs that you visit regularly. Most of the comment systems also provide a way for you to leave a link back to your blog or website which begs a visit at the very least.
9. If you decide to have anything printed up, give your web address on it. You can print your URL on business cards, leaflets, stickers, etc.
10. Add your own web address to your forum profile signature. Each time you post or respond to questions, your ad will be displayed. If you can post good and useful content in forums, people who go through your threads will also certainly check out your website .

The "Long Tail" of Search and SEO WEB HOSTING

The "long tail" is a concept pioneered by Chris Anderson (the editor-in-chief of Wired magazine, who runs the Long Tail blog). His concept is very applicable to my  SEO WEB HOSTING . From Chris's description:

The theory of the Long Tail is that our culture and economy is increasingly shifting away from a focus on a relatively small number of "hits" (mainstream products and markets) at the head of the demand curve and toward a huge number of niches in the tail. As the costs of production and distribution fall, especially online, there is now less need to lump products and consumers into one-size-fits-all containers. In an era without the constraints of physical shelf space and other bottlenecks of distribution, narrowly-target goods and services can be as economically attractive as mainstream fare.

The "long tail" of SEO WEB HOSTING is providing great personal service, not to thousands of hosting customers but to a select few that really want to achieve great results with search engine optimization!

SEO WEB HOSTING

SEO WEB HOSTING is web hosting that combines web hosting services with search engine optimization to get your web site higher in the search engines (preferably on the first or second page of Google!)

There are services out there the call themselves SEO WEB HOSTING, but what they offer is not really seo web hosting, but rather, a service that will put your web sites on various IP address so you don't get a search engine penalty for duplicate web sites (or very similar web sites) on the same IP address. BUT... this does not help you get your web site to the top of search engines which is what SEO is all about! That is what SEO WEB HOSTING does! Get's your web site as high as possible in the search engines for your keywords!

The Impact of SEO WEB DESIGN on getting better search results!

It goes without saying that showing up on the first or second page of google is a great thing for business! It occurred to me that there needed to be a new service that combined search engine optimization (SEO) and web design!  The idea being to integrate SEO fundamentals right into the design of the web site. This helps to make your web site more search engine friendly :)

I have been doing both SEO and seo web design since 1998, and many of my clients have benefited from my web hosting and seo skills to generate more traffic for there web site. So the "light bulb" went off and and I created a new business which is very unique, which is called SEO WEB DESIGN ! I know... it seems so obvious! Combine a great design service that is distinctive, easy to navigate, and is value priced, AND combine this with world class search engine optimization (seo).

Visit SEO WEB HOSTING to learn more. Make sure to check out the SEO case studies for great seo results.
